Hello everyone, I had some difficulty getting onto the blog but finally figured it out, so hello.
My name is Cara and I am going into my senior year at Albertus this fall. I was short a 3 credit course and loved the idea of taking photography since I take so many photos on my phone and would love to learn some new tips.
I run a 501(c)(3) pig rescue in Wolcott, CT so you will probably see a lot of scenes from the farm. I also work full time for a municipality and I'm hoping finishing my degree will help me to advance in my career. I will be using an older model Canon T3i and my iPhone to take photos.
I'm looking forward to working with you all and seeing your photos.

So glad you are on the blog now, Cara... a pig rescue! Who knew there are pigs in Connecticut that need rescue. How many do you have there? I understand that the lifespan of a domestic pig is 15 - 20 years....
ReplyDeleteThere is a huge need for pig rescue! We have 9 pigs currently and would love to expand so we could take in more. They do live 15-20 years and are incredibly smart!
ReplyDeleteSo great.
