I am using a phone camera, so I struggled with maintaining focus when getting within approximately 2 inches of the subject. Below are my best images, all of which are from my own yard and home. I happened to find a mouse skeleton in my garage that provided some relatively dramatic subject matter. Vegetation also drew my attention, especially water droplets and their ability to cling to the leaves, seemingly against the laws of gravity. I also included a shot of the top of a lamp shade: I enjoyed the warm coloring of this photo, but I found it intriguing how the entire frame is out of focus and blurred, except a few cloth fibers which are clear and stand out bright against the darker background.
